Earlier this year, we had already made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel our spring and summer Flying Eye Hospital programs scheduled for Bolivia, Zambia and Cameroon. In light of the continued challenges we're facing with global travel restrictions and concerns for the safety of our medical team and crew, we've recently decided to postpone our upcoming projects in Mongolia and India.
The Flying Eye Hospital is Temporarily Grounded
The Flying Eye Hospital is our state-of-the-art surgical training hospital on board an MD-10 aircraft. Staffed by an expert medical team and our world-leading Volunteer Faculty, this amazing plane usually travels around the world training local eye care teams. But right now, the Flying Eye Hospital is temporarily grounded.

While we can't bring the Flying Eye Hospital to Mongolia or India, we're committed to delivering quality training for medical professionals, working with the Ministries of Health and our partners in both countries. Through our award-winning telemedicine platform, Cybersight, we'll work alongside our partners and world-class Volunteer Faculty members to offer remote training for the eye care teams who were going to participate in the in-person programs.
And, as soon as this global health crisis eases and it's safe to so, we look forward to rescheduling all our Flying Eye Hospital programs for a later date.
