Vision loss is the world’s largest unaddressed disability. Nearly 1 billion people live with vision loss that could be treated or prevented. But 90% of these people live in places where quality eye care is unaffordable, hard to access, or simply doesn’t exist.

Together with our local partners, we help train eye care providers, strengthen health facilities, tackle barriers to access, and empower people and communities with the knowledge and agency to create change for themselves.

When we restore vision, we transform lives. We give a child the chance to go to school and get an education. We give a parent the opportunity to work and earn a living. We give an elderly person the ability to take care of themselves and live independently.
