The Flying Eye Hospital is Coming to Ottawa

From June 1-3, our amazing Orbis Flying Eye Hospital – the only one of its kind in the world – will be visiting Ottawa. Don't miss your chance to check it out.

The Flying Eye Hospital is our state-of-the-art, surgical training hospital on board an MD-10. Staffed by an expert medical team and our world-leading Volunteer Faculty, the Flying Eye Hospital travels around the world to train local eye care teams so they can save sight in their own communities.

Since 1982, the Flying Eye Hospital has been a call to action for better eye care around the world. Wherever it lands, it raises awareness, creates change and rallies supporters – local governments, health ministries, non-profit organizations, philanthropists, and the general public – to join us in our mission.

A limited number of 30-minute tours will be available at the Canada Reception Centre (Ottawa International Airport) during the morning and afternoon of Saturday, June 1 through Monday, June 3.
