Lisa joined Orbis in 2017, coming from a highly successful career of executive leadership in Canada’s nonprofit sector.

Lisa joined Orbis in 2017, coming from a highly successful career of executive leadership in Canada’s nonprofit sector, which included the planning and successful implementation of new strategic directions and business development initiatives for several well-known Canadian charities. 

Prior to joining Orbis, McKeen was Vice President of National Marketing and Development at Easter Seals Canada, where she spearheaded the organization’s national fundraising, marketing and communication efforts.  At Invest in Kids, a national organization dedicated to supporting and educating parents, she led the execution of a strategic plan focused on building the brand and strengthening regional capacity across Canada.  In the role of Project Director of the Colby School in Party City, Utah, McKeen orchestrated all aspects of the school building project and raised funds to purchase and renovate the buildings. Lisa was also Vice Principal of Advancement at Bishop Strachan School leading the funding of plans to support the school’s new vision and mission having previously served at the Markham Stouffville Hospital, where she successfully built the foundation and brand of the then new state-of-the-art hospital.

Lisa is an Honours graduate of University of Waterloo, Ontario. She’s also a graduate of the Olympic Academy of Canada and led Canada’s Olympic Youth Camp Delegation as they won the gold medal for the Cultural Presentation Competition in Seoul, Korea.
